The Fresh Cottage Return Policy
At The Fresh Cottage, we strive to ensure our customers are completely satisfied with their purchases. If for any reason you are not, we are here to help.
In-Store Purchase Returns
- Eligibility: Items must be returned in their original, unworn condition with tags still attached.
- Time Frame: Returns must be made within 7 days of the purchase date for both online and in-store purchases.
- Proof of Purchase: A receipt or proof of purchase is required for all returns and exchanges.
Please Bring your item(s) to The Fresh Cottage along with the receipt. Eligible returns will be processed on the spot, and you may choose a refund to the original method of payment or store credit.
Online Purchase Returns
- Returns: If you are not completely satisfied with your online purchase you may return full price merchandise within 7 days of receiving shipment for a full refund. If within 7-14 days after postmarked receipt of shipment you can return full price merchandise for store credit or exchange only. To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team at hello@thefreshcottage.com. We will provide a return authorization and instructions for shipping the item(s) back to us.
- Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item received was incorrect or defective.
- Refunds: Once we receive your returned item(s), we will inspect them and notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within a certain number of days.
- Exchanges: For exchanges, please follow the return process and place a new order for the desired item(s).
Skincare & Makeup & Hair Products
- Non-Refundable: Due to health and safety reasons, skincare items are not refundable once opened.
Sale Items
- Final Sale: Items purchased on sale or with a discount over 20% are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately at hello@thefreshcottage.com with details and photos of the issue. We will arrange for a replacement or a refund as necessary.
